My e-book on Marketing
MCQS
Maxwell Ranasinghe- BSc, CPM, MA
 I have taught marketing for last 20 years in number of universities and
professional institutes. MCQs are now a very important part of marketing
examinations all over the world. As such, I wrote an e-book on Marketing
Multiple Questions to help students in passing exams
 I studied question papers on MCQs of many universities and discussed with
many professors before I compiled the book
 It has 670 Questions and Answers which covers a standard syllabus of
marketing in Diploma and Undergraduate level courses
 It has 12 chapters- Introduction to marketing, Marketing Environment,
Marketing Mix, Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, Segmentation,
Targeting and Positioning, Product decisions, Price, Distribution, Promotion,
Marketing Planning and Information and Communication Technology for
Marketing
 I sent copies of this book to students who offered marketing as a subject for in
number of universities in USA, Canada, UK, India, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and
Philippines early 2018 to test how it works for them for their exams
 I am glad to inform you that all the students informed me that it helped them in a
great way to learn marketing and face the MCQ exam very successfully. Further
they informed me that it helped them to write the essay type exam as well as it
covers the concepts of the whole syllabus.
 One student from the York University Canada, requested permission from me to
publish part of the chapter 1 as a video presentation in YouTube to promote my e-
book.
 He has selected 30 questions from the 60 questions in the Chapter 1- Introduction
to marketing. Whilst giving permission to him, I thought of publishing it in the
Slide share.net as well for the benefit of students. The whole book will be
published soon in Amazon Kindle.
