This presentation provides guidance to help students create a plan for completing activities in their Industrial Revolution unit. It recommends that students first ensure they understand all assignment expectations, then prioritize activities by estimated time required. Students are instructed to break each activity down into specific steps, using examples provided. Creating a detailed action plan is emphasized as important for staying on track and being successful.
2. Using this PowerPoint
This presentation is simply meant to be a
helpful tool for you—you do not need to
follow ,it step by step, these are simply my
suggestions.
From time to time the presentation will ask you
to answer questions before moving forward—
DO THIS. The questions are meant to help you
make a plan that will make sense for you.
Remember, the better your plan is the more
likely you are to stick to it and the more likely
you are to be successful in class.
3. Before you begin…
Before you begin its
important to make
sure you understand
all parts of the
assignments.
If you are unclear on
directions or
expectations you
need to talk to fellow
classmates and/or
Mr. Brilla
4. Making Priorities
No that you are clear
on the expectations,
it’s time for you to
decide what you need
to do first.
Take a moment and list
the activities in order
from the ones you
believe will take you
the most time, to the
ones you believe will
take you the least.
5. Creating Your Action Plan
My
ideas

Now that you have
your list of activities in
