TYPICAL DUTIES
• -Act as a liaison for the University Center
between facilities, housekeeping, food
services, and other areas of the university
• -Open and close upper level facilities
• -Perform set-ups in meeting rooms with
requested chairs, tables, AV equipment
• -Hourly building tours
• -Sale of Campus Activities event tickets and
sign-up sheets
• -Answer questions
• -Update ID cards with current sticker

CENTER
• All current students, faculty, and staff
• Members of the Pool and Fitness Center
• Renters of Meeting Rooms
• Attendees of events taking place on
campus
• Prospective students and their families

4. DIRECTOR OF UNIVERSITY CENTER:
KATIE KNETZER
• Supervises all units within the University Center
• Directly supervises the Information Center
• Co-advises the Dining Advisory Board
• Liaisons with all the departments that utilize and interact with
the UC
• Overall facility and budget management

5. STUDENT SUPERVISOR:
KIREN MATHEW
• Assists Director with building operations
• Assumes responsibility for supervision of the UC
Student Building Managers (SBMs), as well as the
evening and weekend operation of the University
Center
• Supervision and scheduling of SBMs
• Coordination of training programs, event support,
and general building
reservations

6. INFORMATION COORDINATOR:
NANCY CHRISTIAN
• Manages UC communications and social
media
• Designs handouts and print materials
• Updates display cases
• Represents SBM Staff at UC Operations
Meetings
• Assists with SBM training

7. RESERVATIONS COORDINATOR:
EMILY STATEN
• Assists with management of reservations and
rentals
• Approves room requests, reviews set-up needs,
communicates with patrons and staff, and markets
the availability of rentals
• Assists with training SBMs on the reservations
process

8. MEMBERSHIPS COORDINATOR:
ELENA HUTSON
• Manages the processing of all membership forms
and materials for the University Center
• Communicates with patrons regarding their
memberships
