oBrand is the “name ,term, design, symbol, or any other
feature that identifies one seller’s product distinct from
those of other sellers”.
oBrands are used in business, marketing, and advertising .
oWhereas branding is defined as the marketing practice of
creating a name, symbol or design that identifies and
differentiates a product from other products.

SPICE MIX
Many spices last for years, and some have even been
found in 5,000-year-old Egyptian tombs.
In centuries past, pepper was worth its weight in gold
and wars were fought over access to spices. Prices have
dropped dramatically for all but a few spices (such as
saffron), and today we forget that they are good for
more than enhancing flavor of our favorite dishes.
Historically, spices have been used in perfumes.

 Mahashay Dharmpal was born on 27th March, 1923 in
Sialkot (Pakistan). In 1937, he set up with the help of
his father a small business of looking mirror and
thereafter business and carpentry job, cloth merchant,
hardware business & rice trading.
 Somehow these petty businesses could not hold him for
long and he joined hands with his father in his parental
business i.e. Spices under the name of Mahashian Di
Hatti popularly known as 'Deggi Mirch‘.

 FOUNDER – JHAVERI INDUSTRIES
 The manufacturing unit located at Umergaon (Gujarat), has
been mandibly supported by our administration office in
Mumbai.
 Broadly, there are two main subdivisions of spices one being
the major spices and the other is minor spices. For example
the spices like pepper, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, chilies etc.,
comes under major category. The important minor spices grown
in India are ajwain, aniseed, caraway, celery, coriander, cumin,
dill seed, fennel, fenugreek, garlic, onion, saffron, vanilla etc.
EVEREST
 FOUNDER –VADILAL SHAH
 Everest Spices is an Indian manufacturer, distributor and
exporter of ground spices and spice mixtures under the
brand name Everest.
 According to the 2007 study, Everest was India's largest
spices brand based in Mumbai. More than 20 million
households used Everest spices regularly. The brand was
stocked by 400,000 outlets in more than 1000 towns
across India.
WATER COLOURS
 The term water colour a painting method in which
the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water-
soluble vehicle. The traditional and most common support for
watercolor paintings is paper , other sources like papyrus,
bark papers, plastics, vellum or leather , fabric , wood,
and canvas.
 The 'natural' movement of the pigment in water/paper is a
property that water colour offers to the artist . It provides
effects that oils, and perhaps acrylic cannot. Water colour is
the attraction and challenge offered to an artist.

 Pelikan Watercolors are made from the highest
quality finely ground pigments. These artist paints
are very lightfast with brilliant and dense colors.
Each set features a hollowed paint tablets for
quicker solubility. The color pans are
interchangeable.
FABER CASTELL
 Founded in 1761 at Stein near Nuremberg by
cabinet maker Kaspar Faber (1730–84), the
enterprise has remained in the Faber family for
eight generations . It opened branches in New York
(1849), London (1851), Paris (1855), and
expanded to Vienna (1872) and St. Petersburg
(1874). 6500 employees work under faber castell.

, crayons, modeling dough, oil
pastels, papers, connector pens.

 Toothpaste is used to
promote oral hygiene.
 Simply scrub jewellery with
toothpaste using a soft bristle
toothbrush, rinse with water
before the toothpaste hardens and
shine with a cloth.
Toothpaste can remove the most
difficult stains from your favorite
clothes. Lipstick stains from shirt
collars, juice stains from T-shirts
and spaghetti sauce on the table
cloth.

was first sold by Block Drug ,
a Brooklyn, New York-based company
established in 1907 by pharmacist,
Alexander Block. The toothpaste was first
marketed in 1961 as a
desensitizing toothpaste based on a
strontium chloride formulation.
SIGNAL
• Signal is a toothpaste and a mouthwash
produced by the Unilever company.
• Signal toothpaste was introduced in 1961
to European store shelves. Extensions to
the brand include fluoride toothpaste
(1977), anti-tartar formula (1986) and
"complete"antibacterial (1999) varieties.
DABUR
• Dabur Red Paste is packed with the power of
ingredients like Laung Pudina & Tomar. It is
the first-ever toothpaste which
thereby providing you healthy teeth . Its
superior formulation that has been
scientifically validated has made Dabur Red
Paste the preferred oral care brand for
millions of Indians. Dabur Red Toothpaste has
become a Rs 100 crore brand within just five
years of its birth.

BRANDING oBrand is the “name ,term, design, symbol, or any other feature that identifies one seller’s product distinct from those of other sellers”. oBrands are used in business, marketing, and advertising . oWhereas branding is defined as the marketing practice of creating a name, symbol or design that identifies and differentiates a product from other products.

  • 9. SPICE MIX Many spices last for years, and some have even been found in 5,000-year-old Egyptian tombs. In centuries past, pepper was worth its weight in gold and wars were fought over access to spices. Prices have dropped dramatically for all but a few spices (such as saffron), and today we forget that they are good for more than enhancing flavor of our favorite dishes. Historically, spices have been used in perfumes.
  • 11. MAHASHIAN DI HATTI  FOUNDER :- DHARAMPAL GULATI  Mahashay Dharmpal was born on 27th March, 1923 in Sialkot (Pakistan). In 1937, he set up with the help of his father a small business of looking mirror and thereafter business and carpentry job, cloth merchant, hardware business & rice trading.  Somehow these petty businesses could not hold him for long and he joined hands with his father in his parental business i.e. Spices under the name of Mahashian Di Hatti popularly known as 'Deggi Mirch‘.

BADSHAH  FOUNDER – JHAVERI INDUSTRIES  The manufacturing unit located at Umergaon (Gujarat), has been mandibly supported by our administration office in Mumbai.  Broadly, there are two main subdivisions of spices one being the major spices and the other is minor spices. For example the spices like pepper, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, chilies etc., comes under major category. The important minor spices grown in India are ajwain, aniseed, caraway, celery, coriander, cumin, dill seed, fennel, fenugreek, garlic, onion, saffron, vanilla etc.

EVEREST  FOUNDER –VADILAL SHAH  Everest Spices is an Indian manufacturer, distributor and exporter of ground spices and spice mixtures under the brand name Everest.  According to the 2007 study, Everest was India's largest spices brand based in Mumbai. More than 20 million households used Everest spices regularly. The brand was stocked by 400,000 outlets in more than 1000 towns across India.
  • 14. WATER COLOURS  The term water colour a painting method in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water- soluble vehicle. The traditional and most common support for watercolor paintings is paper , other sources like papyrus, bark papers, plastics, vellum or leather , fabric , wood, and canvas.  The 'natural' movement of the pigment in water/paper is a property that water colour offers to the artist . It provides effects that oils, and perhaps acrylic cannot. Water colour is the attraction and challenge offered to an artist.

These artist paints are very lightfast with brilliant and dense colors. Each set features a hollowed paint tablets for quicker solubility. The color pans are interchangeable.
  • 18. FABER CASTELL  Founded in 1761 at Stein near Nuremberg by cabinet maker Kaspar Faber (1730–84), the enterprise has remained in the Faber family for eight generations . It opened branches in New York (1849), London (1851), Paris (1855), and expanded to Vienna (1872) and St. Petersburg (1874). 6500 employees work under faber castell.  Products offered by faber castell are Pencils , watercolors , brushes , markers , crayons, modeling dough, oil pastels, papers, connector pens.

TOOTHPASTE  Toothpaste is used to promote oral hygiene.  Simply scrub jewellery with toothpaste using a soft bristle toothbrush, rinse with water before the toothpaste hardens and shine with a cloth. Toothpaste can remove the most difficult stains from your favorite clothes. Lipstick stains from shirt collars, juice stains from T-shirts and spaghetti sauce on the table cloth.

  • 22. SIGNAL • Signal is a toothpaste and a mouthwash produced by the Unilever company. • Signal toothpaste was introduced in 1961 to European store shelves. Extensions to the brand include fluoride toothpaste (1977), anti-tartar formula (1986) and "complete"antibacterial (1999) varieties.
