 Motivations shape how
we view the world,
prioritize, focus, and
perform.
 Motivations are habits
which become skills we
develop. Some habits are
productive. Others
encourage counter-
productive lifestyles.

 Without knowing what
motivates, it’s hit or miss.
 Good News: If we hit
productive motivators, we
get positive results.
 Bad News: If we hit
counter-productive
motivators, at best we get
a short-term boost.
 At worst…it perpetuates
and reinforces stress or
pain.
