•Pandas eat bamboo short stems and

•They eat 85 pounds a day of bamboo.

5. A Panda’s Predators
•People chop down trees so pandas
cannot hide in them and people chop
down their food. This is a danger to
them.

6. A Panda’s Life Cycle
•Female pandas give birth once
every year.
•Baby pandas are called cubs.
•One or two cubs are born a year.

•Panda cubs weigh about 5 ounces.
