• Goal:
To make easier the opening of City ICT infrastructures
(information systems) and offer them to third parties
to develop services of public interest.
• Main deliverables:
A software platform that manages this access
An engagement methodology to enrol developers
A community formed by cities, infrastructures’ owners
and developers (SME).

want co-create services with third parties.
• Responsible of IT infrastructures: That are
opening up processes and want to foster their
use, but want to control this access.
• Developers (SME): That want to create new
services and need the access to public IT
infrastructures.

8. • An European project that it’s in production.
• Synergies among several cities.
• A secured way to open its IT infrastructures.
• Separate internal systems and external services that
are using them.
• Log.
• Use statistics (not yet).
• Data analytics (not yet).
• Development portal (supports the relationship
between cities and developers).
• Engagement methodology (and support on it).

• The owner decide the rules.
• Orchestration Total control over the access to
the infrastructure.
• Save the infrastructure’s operation against DoS
attacks.
• Statistics of access (not yet).
• Serialization of calls (not yet).
• Cache (not yet).
• API Translation (if needed).

infrastructures’ owners?
10. • Free technical support to help Cities, and Infrastructure
responsible, open new infrastructures using iCity
Platform.
• Free exploitation of the platform until the end of the
project (June 2015) (This date is the end of the EC
funding, it isn’t the end of the service).
• Capability to evolve the platform according to the cities
needs.
• Sustainability once the project have finished.

11. • Access to read-only and read-and-write IT infras.
• Currently, access to 14 IT infrastructures.
• Common APIs in different cities, (currently SOS OGC
and Open311).
• Automatic routing of the calls to the right city.
• Developer portal:
• News.
• Documentation (wiki) & Forum.
• Statistics (not yet).
• Communication channel with the cities.
• It’s a way to internationalize your products.
