They traded manufactured glass, crystal, brass, copper and other natural resources(Source 2) </li></ul><ul><li>South Western Arabian started to create the biggest effect on Axum such as farming and irrigation. (Source 2) </li></ul><ul><li>First African Kingdom to have a currency. They match the currency to the Roman coins. (Source 2) </li></ul>

They did not use mortar, fit the stones together very carefully. (Source 1) </li></ul><ul><li>The Axum also had castles that were built this way, several stories high.
