through the official Open Group certification
process.
8. Open Group Conference Updates
Even though there was a vertical focus the Open Group did cover additional areas around the profession
of EA, forward looking views on the industry and architecture topics like big data and cloud.
Included in that were a series of announcements:
• Business Development: Q4 2013, The Open Group had 45,000 individual members in 134 countries
hailing from 449 member companies in 38 countries worldwide.
• New Certification: US Federal Government sanctioned Secure Global Supply Chain Standard Open
Group Trusted Technology Provider Standard (O-TTPS) accreditation program announced. IBM
