To show a fun family project we completed, and to test 'Slideshare'. This jeep was a project first proposed by my son Brandon. Philip and I found it in Wanatchee Wa., and drove there to pick it up. Working mostly Saturday's we took it down to the frame and refurbished or replaced all the parts, bring it back to working order. We also converted this jeep from 6 volt to 12 volt, but most of it is to original spec.

2. Wenatchee, WA. Started with Jeep that runs, with little rust, and shifts in and out of all gears.

4. Started September 2006 My other son, Philip, home from school. We started the tear-down. Plan was to paint body and replace worn parts, then reassemble and drive (that was the plan).

5. Body Off Condition But once we were down to the frame, it became apparent that there was much more than the original plan to do-should of figured on this.

6. Bottom of the Curve Now no more parts coming off, body is being painted and engine is being rebuilt. We will paint the frame, replace brake lines and start to put things back together. From here we are building and no longer tearing down.

7. RED is NICE Engine and body going back on the frame. Space is tight, but progress being made.

8. It’s a Jeep We’re pleased with how the jeep looks and is coming together. More work to do. At this point we have covered about 12 months of working on weekends on this project.

9. It Runs! The 95% finished product. We have a little touch up to do, but after roughly 18 months we are driving and things are working pretty well. Now the fun begins!
