Mario Barros holds a degree in Industrial Design (2004) and a PhD in Design (2015), both from the University of Lisbon. He has taught and researched in Portugal and Vietnam, prior to working in Denmark. His research interests are driven by sheer curiosity on processes of designing and producing products and fall under three interrelated tiers: morphogenesis, design-driven innovation and long-lasting products.
