Michael Eckersley leads HumanCentered, a design research and innovation consultancy. He also teaches evening graduate courses at The University of Kansas. Earlier work involved a stint as Design Strategy Director for Sybase. His first professional work was as a fashion retail store designer for Allied Stores Corporation. Since that time he has led design and research projects for many well known entities, including The Smithsonian Institution, Black & Decker, GMAC, Novell, Yumbrands and Coca-Cola.
