This machine is used to recreate what happened a billionth of a second after the
big bang.
This Large Hadron Collider operates at 8 trillion electron volts, which is greater
than any physics accelerator!
3. WHAT DOES THIS MACHINE DO?
The big bang machine recreates the big bang by making high-energy beams of
protons crash into each other at incredible speeds.
Red lines represent high-energy proton beams while yellow lines show the
tracks of particles produced in the collision.
4. WHY WASTE THE MONEY?
This 10 billion dollar project seems over priced, but this technology shows
us how our Earth became what its like today.
