1. VETAPE BI-Annual Review Meeting
This meeting in its kind and purpose is nothing else, but for
project staff and other project actors to look back the
project and update one another on project achievements,
challenges, lessons learned and recommendations for ways
forward for future programming of projects similar to the
project being reviewed.
2. Individual Partner Project Briefing
Each partner will be given a very short time to measure
his/her internal feelings towards the project during his/her
time of being part and/or involved in its implementation
and what he/she can suggest to CARE for further strategic
improvement. Then, CARE will be admired for partners
contributions and hopefully will act accordingly in its future
programmatic interventions.
Therefore, meeting participants and project stakeholders
are vigorously appealed to focus mainly on the meeting
subject issues of:-
•Project achievements per result area
•Felt challenges against the implementation of the project.
•Lessons learned from the project and recommendations
for alternate ways forward for furthering interventions
3. Split participants into small working Groups
Most of the work efforts and time will be allocated for
group work, discussion and debates in an interactive and
consultative manner. Individual group work will then be
presented by a selective individual group leaders and after
presentation, the rest of participants will ask questions from
his/her presented points and issues.
5. Cont.
In most cases, such meetings are different from training
workshops, in that it is not facilitator-centered, but
participants are always the key players of the entire process
in an all inclusive approach. The role of the facilitator is just
to take on the event leadership and management. The
methodology is to split participants into small discussion
groups to further discuss on what have been achieved out
of the project life cycle, what were the challenges against
the project progress and success, what are the lessons
learned, the expectations of the project beneficiaries in
general and what are the key suggestive recommendations
for alternate ways forward for further interventions.
6. Meeting Objectives
The overall objective is to review back the project through
active engagement of all project stakeholders through
consultation and sharing project knowledge and
experiences on project failures and successes. Further
objective may include the following:-
• Conceptualize and further understanding of CARE about
the project in general.
•Realize what meeting participants and project stakeholders
expect and feel about the project.
•Brief by partner representatives on market absorption rate
and employment of project training graduates at the labor
market.
•Recommend and suggest by partners for an innovative
strategies and further programming areas for further
adjustment on top of project-formulated initial and adopted
strategies
