What Color Should My Poop Be
1. What Color Should My Poop Be?
If you’re looking to improve the health of your colon, and everyone should be, then
you do need to ask the question, “what color should my poop be?” Admittedly it's not
a question that you would normally find yourself asking anyone but your doctor, but
it's a question that you really should make sure that you have an answer to.
The color of poop will range from green, to red, to beige, to brown and even black -
but what is considered normal is a color that is close in look to cardboard.
The reasons for the different colors that you may experience at different times in your
life can be Irritable Bowel Syndrome, stress, unhealthy diet, constipation or misuse of
laxatives - to name but a few.
What you might consider to get your poop the correct color is to add some fiber and
bulk to your diet, especially if the stools are loose and slippery. Fiber will bulk up
your stools and make them far easier to pass. Not only that fiber will get your colon
and digestive tract working far more effectively.
If on the other hand your stools are hard and painful to pass, then you should seriously
consider adding water to your diet. Drinking plenty of water will help to break up the
contents of your colon and help to flush out the smaller pieces from your colon.
It cannot be stressed enough that everyone is different and what is normal and
common place for someone else might not be the norm for you. However if your
poop is not the 'normal' cardboard looking color, then you should look at what is
missing in your diet or what you can do differently regarding your life style choices.
If all that fails, then consider a colon cleanse to clean out your colon and in effect
reboot your system.
