Education

Manuel is a physicist and has been interested in all things related to Science and Technology since a child. An Msc in Physics from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon and concluded with a top graded final thesis supervised by Physics Nobel Prize Winner 1999 Gerard t’Hooft at the University of Utrecht. Since early childhood Manuel has country hopped, having lived in Brazil (1 yr), China (3 yr), India (1,5 yr), Holland (1,5 yr), Italy (3 yr), Canada (3 yr), Belgium (3 yr) and Portugal. This international exposure has been formative and character building in important aspects of his life.
