Unique Events is a full service company that will provide complete event planning and
consulting services for weddings, holy unions, anniversaries and conferences. It is unique in that
we will give our clients our undivided attention. We will listen to their needs and work with them
to create the event of their dreams.
Unique Events will aim to be number one resource for any event because now days everyone
wants to put more effort in making events in their life extra special.
This plan contains the following main sections;
Company description which gives information on what we will do, what differentiates
our business from others, and the markets we intend to serve.
Market analysis. This mainly talks about our business industry, markets and competitors.
Management summary. It talks about the different roles played by people in the business
and also the organizational structure.
Products and services. Basically here, we talk about our services and how they will
benefit our customers.
Marketing strategy. This section explains how we plan to market our business and what
our strategies are.
Financial plan. This explains our anticipated pricing structure and annual projections on
revenue, costs and gross margin and net profit.

Events strives to be the best choice of clients by giving them fresh ideas to ease their event
planning burden through formulating ideas, budgets and take over the entire preparation to make
sure that clients avoid further stress and just leave everything into our capable hands hence

1.1 COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Unique events management is a new company that will provide high quality and affordable
services to people.
It will be a partnership, owned by Asiimwe Brendah, Talemwa Andrew
Agaba Elizabeth and Muganzi Martin who will have different roles.
Unique Events will plan for some people who often lack time, experience and expertise to plan
the occasion themselves; individuals who would want to spare themselves from all the stress and
trouble that could happen if they would be the ones planning the occasion.
Our target market will cut across people of different class and people from all walks of life, local
and international organizations as well. These will include potential couples, religious
organizations, sports organizations, households and schools (High schools, colleges and
universities).
Our primary objectives are to help and plan for some people who often lack time, experience and
expertise to plan the occasion themselves, help individuals who would want to spare themselves
from all the stress and trouble that could happen if they would be the ones planning the occasion
and to produce the same quality results, every time
Unique Events will grow steadily each consecutive month which is our vision.
Unique Events will be located in town along Kampala road plot 20 and this place will be rented.
Through careful planning on the part of the founders, the starts up costs for Unique Events are
minimal.

1.2 SERVICES AND PRODUCTS
Though our company will be mainly service based, we also plan to provide optional products
such as party packs for the best possible results as the business grows.
Our services will include;
Events planning and consultation
Here we will plan and design for people who lack time and experience and also make for them
budgets. We will efficiently assist our customers with the tedious administration related to
organizing an event. We set up your database, send out invitations and monitor responses as well
as arrange name badges and corporate gifts.
Theme and concept design
We will design specific themes according to our customers’ preferences that will excite them.
This includes the collaboration of décor and design to create a memorable event.
General event administration and coordination
We will assist our customers with the administration and coordination part of the event.
Everything from site inspections, budgeting, printing of amenities for the event, booking and
confirming venues.
Public speakers and entertainment
Sourcing the best available speakers and entertainment from celebrities to top names in business,
sport, and many other sectors will be our responsibility. We will assist in making our customers’
presentation/event a success.
Event management
Those who need an extra pair of hands at an event to assist in registration, ushering in guests or
managing the event on the actual day. Event coordinator is on leave and you need someone to
assist you with the running of the event – we can also assist you. Whatever your needs are, we
can assist you.

Unique Events will initially serve as a medium sized business dealing with a few events such
birthday celebrations and others that do not need a lot of planning, but that does not in any way
stop us from growing to be able to compete with the leading event planning and management
companies in other places.
Our target market cuts across people of different class and people from all walks of life, local
and international organizations as well. We are coming into the industry with a business concept
that will enable us work with the highly placed people and companies in the country and at the

their professional careers but have not yet started their families. The revenues generated will
range from moderate to high depending on the event. Most of the weddings will fall under
this bracket.

The persons that fall into this age group are employed and middle to upper-middle class
families. These choose event planners because they are too busy to do it themselves.
Therefore Unique Events will be on hand for everything. Moderate revenues are expected to
be generated.
56 and above.
Here many are retiring, others are celebrating anniversaries. These will generate moderate to
high levels of income depending on the income level of the family.

Create different packages for different categories of clients in order to work with their
budgets and still deliver quality event planning services to them.

expenses and taxes, communication and insurance. Though there are high chances that this
amount will increase as a result of fluctuating prices. Most of our funding will be got from our
personal savings and loan.
