Application of automation software to carry out tasks and activities in applications and systems by interacting with them in the same way as a human. “Virtual Workers” replicate the specific actions a human would take while working with IT systems, the decisions they make, and the logical processes they follow. One of the issue found is slowness and cost associated with the SV environment creation. Both of these factors are contributed by human resource availability and cost. • Given a standard format for inputs, if RPA can be applied for virtualizing services and creating stubs both the above pain points can be converted to bliss points How we solved it • We have implemented this RPA solution as part of pilot project using UiPath to automate the service virtualization project creation, entire stub creation and deployment to SV servers Client Benefits • The sample set we picked is for a set of files handled by a single engineer. This solution would save 1 FTE and allows the engineer to work on tasks which requires human judgement. The speed of execution was also so fast for the bot that it took only 15 minutes to finish a days manual work. • Implementing this to the larger scale will save 10 FTEs. UST - eService Virtualization Automation Business Context How we solved it Client Benefits Tech Stack Our Client is UK's leading pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer • The Benefit specialist captures benefit contract details from Benefit Process Design document in PDF format and decode the required information and enters these data to a web application where it captures and process it in a centralized location. Currently this is a tedious process which consumes three days to process a single document. There are more than thousand such documents to process. Because of manual intensive work it is error prone and lot of rework effort also involved. • UST Global is in the process of Implementing RPA solution using UI Path to automate the entire benefit contract coding process which parses semi structured data to a meaningful information also applying specific rules. • Solution is expected to save more than 20 FTEs with reduced processing time to less than 10% of current manual processing time. • The robotic process is error free, efficient, cost effective with improved speed • UiPath Studio, .NET, PDF, Acrobat Pro DC

This process is carried out for, 1. Each newly joined employee 2. Each employee during salary revision cycle Solution: Created robot which carryout sequential tasks as, 1. Read all the salary letters (PDF format) which are kept under specific folder and transfer it into single Excel file. 2. Each Excel row presents data of one employee 3. Read the Excel and input data into payroll system 4. Send the updated report to configured users Challenges: 1. For one employee, there are 15 entries to be done into system. 2. Time required for one employee entry was 10min. 3. During revision cycle finance team has to key in data for 600+ employees 4. Error prone process due to manual data entry Value addition (ROI) • Unattended execution over night • No review required • Data entry time for each employee is dropped down from ~10min. To ~1min. • Saved ~120 man hours per year • Finance team is able to spend saved time into other important tasks

Pune’s office uses three different surveys to gather these scores. In order to import the scores to QuickBase the scores have to be reformatted and combined into a specially formatted excel sheet. The process for doing this manually is as follows: 1. Copy and paste data for each user into formatted sheet 2. Click through options of scores in order to match format Solution: Create robot to complete sequential tasks 1. Gathers data rows from excel sheets for individual. 2.
