(NREGS )
• Guaranteeing legal rights by means of act,
not just the scheme
• A minimum 100 days of wage employment
in a financial year
• Adult members of a rural household
who demand employment
• Willing to do unskilled manual work
3. Current Situation
• Top level administration and main stream media active and
excited about NREGS
• Not reaching the poor & downtrodden sections of villages
• Social movements have to take a lead for executing this right
to employment
• Major hurdle in realization is a lack of knowledge and
information exchange amongst the masses to get organized
and networked at grass root levels.
• Socio-political struggle, fight against digital divide

5. The first campaign
• Scheduled from 1st may to 28th may
• Will pass through 45 villages, impacting around 250 villages
• Across 4 districts
• Hingoli
• Beed
• Parbhani
• Ahmed Nagar
• Hingoli, Ahmed Nagar notified in NREGS
• Parbhani and Beed volunteers are active o Maharashtra EGS
• The campaign will culminate in a state wide IT4SC -1v1c mass IT
Training annual camp at Ahmed Nagar from 24th may to 28th may,
