4. We are a manufacturer of Custom doors. Each order is placed based on the size, design pressures, and specifications that our customer requires. No need to worry about what sizes we carry—we carry your size. Because of the quality of the materials we use plus our dry glazing process you are able to replace the glass without replacing the entire door should the pane break or you want to replace it for any reason. We offer three Series of our sliding doors, each with various specifications to match your needs. They are: Sentry, Atlas, or Titan Custom Plaza Doors
5. Providing excellent value, Sentry is our basic residential unit, adaptable to a broad variety of both exterior and interior applications where high quality and exceptional performance are desired. This series was designed for one and two story structures. For economy and versatility Sentry is an excellent choice. It is a Non-Impact door that handles design pressures +/- 45.9 psf. Panel sizes up to 51 x 80 inches per panel are permitted. Shutters are necessary on the exterior with this door . Sentry Series
6. The Atlas is a versatile system used when higher wind loads are needed. The same quality components are used as in all Plaza doors but the addition of all extruded aluminum stiffeners, Hannerails, have been included where oversized panels are required in high rise buildings above the second floor. The design pressure for the Atlas is +/-61psf and the maximum panel size increases to 62” x 96”. Atlas Series
7. When “ultra high performance” wind loads, air and water infiltration requirements are needed, then the Titan is the door to use. The Titan door panel consists of a heavy double tube, 2 ½ wide by 2 ¾ deep vertical lead stile and a 1 ¾ wide and 3 1/8 deep heavy interlock stile. With a solid aluminum concealed stiffener inserted in these stiles, panel heights of 10 ft. have been tested and approved up to 142 psf. design pressure. Titan Series
8. Titan Profiles Double tube vertical stile 2 3/4 ” deep 3 1/8” deep Example of 2 Solid Aluminum stiffeners in interlocks
11. Roller Assembly One of the most important components of a sliding glass door is the roller assembly. We designed our own. Made of 6061-T6 structural grade aluminum alloy with stainless steel axle pins, ball bearings, and adjusting screw, the large diameter wheel is molded of high density Derlin compound for durability.Derlin is a naturally lubricating material and does not wear away the heavy anodized finish applied to the track. The stainless steel bearing is protected from dust and dirt with Teflon dust shields. It all adds up to a very quiet, easy-rolling corrosion resistant door. The Tandem Roller Assembly is included as standard hardware on our Titan Series units. The use of two wheels per roller assembly means the mechanical advantage of the large tires has been doubled to provide the easiest, smoothest and quietest rolling Titan door panels. Single Roller Tandem Roller
12. Four Point Weather Seal The Pile or “fuzz” weather stripping plays the critical role of keeping insects from finding their way inside. The bulb vinyl weather stripping is important because it blocks wind and rain water from entering the interior. IIBP integrates this industry standard of weather sealing twice at every jamb, door astragal, and interlock meeting condition. Having this feature helps eliminate the “whistling ” or “howling” many sliding glass doors produce during extremely windy conditions. 13. Water drainage is important in areas where constant rain is a part of everyday life. To keep rain water from finding its way inside, we use a series of watertight discharge pans hidden underneath the track. The force of the water rolling off the doors pushes the water into corresponding “weep” holes that allow water to find its way off of the track and away from the door sill. Available for areas with extreme weather and high winds is our “Titan Hi-Rise” track to block water intrusion. Track Drainage- “weep” system Discharge pan under track
14. Door models can accommodate a wide range glass from 3/16” monolithic to 9/16 laminated impact to ¾” insulated. Glass is annealed, heat strengthened or tempered We carry a full range of tinted glass, obscure glass, turtle glass, reflective and Low E Our laminated glass is DupontSentryGlas Plus for large missile and PVB for small Missile. Doors are available as either factory glazed or knock down (KD) Glass
17. IIBP uses Bonnell Aluminum as a supplier of our anodized aluminum. They are a premier aluminum extrusion supplier. Bonnell recently converted to acid etched anodizing which provides the following benefits: Superior finish consistency Hides extrusion surface imperfections Meets or exceeds all AAMA 611 specifications for anodizing Environmentally friendly and greener than conventional anodizing The US Environmental Protection Agency regards anodizing as an environmentally friendly process. Anodizing uses simple water-based chemicals that can be treated easily and that release no harmful by-products Anodized Architectural Aluminum
18. Custom Colors Custom Colors are available using Kynar or ESP A Superior Architecture Powder Coating We now offer the “Wood Grain” look Developed in Europe by Decoral System and tested by AAMA,this new Technology gives an appearance of a high end look simulating wood grain yet resistant to all atmospheric agents including acids, humidity and salt.
19. Handles Locks Stainless steel flush and dead bolt lock systems are used. These massive laminated bolts, in a hook shape, resists the sliding motion of the door and jamb. Amesbury provides sliding glass door handles in various shapes. Choose the color and shape to match your door
20. Doors in Motion Plaza Doors are designed to accept doors in motion systems. This is an automation solution that allows homeowners to safely and quietly operate larger doors with the touch of a button.
