Relationship management Is all about your
Interpersonal communication skills. Its all about,..
your ability to get the best out of other, your ability to
help them change ,grow, develop, and resolve
Conflicts

• Take a look at this quotes, you must have heard one
or two of them somewhere
• Nobody can be successful all on their own
• *Without Followers there Is no need for leader ,
without client and Customer you have no business
• * the more then of customer you have, the more
money you are likely to get.
• * Treat other the way you have been treated , put
yourself In other people shoes
• * Human are the most difficult to manage of all of
God creation
• Treat others the way you would love to be treated

• *4 Types of relationship* from my own perspective
• Nobody can be successful all on their own

without client and Customer you have no business

• * Human are the most difficult to manage of all of God

• 1) *Slave - Slave Relationship* :this Is a kind of
Relationship dominated by Undue submission,
Depression, subjection

• *Slave - Master relationship*: this is a Situation
where the slave dictates the phase - The master Is
at the mercy of the Slave. A group of people lead
by a leader with slave mentality.

• 3) *Master - Slave relationship* : typical of African.
where a person dominate, Intimidation, threat and
dominate the relationship
•
• 4) *Master - Master relationship* - It is
characterised by Joint decision of the leader and
the subjects or the service provider and the client,
all in this relationship are important , there is
mutual respect, everyone feel Important. This is a
better way to relate.

• There are some skills that leaders and
entrepreneurs must possess in getting to the pivot
of their dreams.
•
• People Management skills*
•
• *Self Management (SM)*:The ability to control
Yourself , to control yourself , you must have the
ability to recognise our Weakness & strength
•
• Time Management (TM)* -Ability to manage your
time . Don't engage People In time wasting
ventures . Let 8:00 be 8:00. Be business like
•
• Customer retention /Management (CrM)*-the
ability to identify paying customer and pin them
down. 80/20 rule Come and play here that 20% of
your customer will give you 80% of you result
•
• Communication Management (CM)*-the ability to
have effective communication. Communication is
effective only when sender and receiver
understand same Information .no assumption and
there must be a feedback to the source of the
information even if it is by phone.

• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)* - Is a
practice/strategy that can be used to manage
analyse, customer. If you want a fair share of your
Customer's wallet - treat them well
•
• Conflict Resolution and Management (CR and M)*-
Hear other out and empathize where necessary ,
Apologize when needed, Take responsibility
•

• Adopt selfless not selfish services
• - Engage mutual not parasitic relationship
• - Add value and Solve problem
• - make others Happy
• - Don't expect much from people
• - what you can't take, don't give
• - give freely good gestures you can
• - never dominate a discussion, let other people air

In conclusion, I want to share this
story with you
• It is of a black woman who newly moved into a
community dominated with whites. She had on one
side a troublesome neighbour
• Separated by a fence.
• This white woman In order to frustrate her
neighbour throws faeces into the black woman's
compound on a regular basis & after a while the
black neighbour discover feces are no longer
coming as usual
•
• she found out that the white woman was sick and
she decided to pay a visit with a basket of roses in
her hand and on getting there, the white lady was
lying down Sick, She presented her roses and the
white woman out of surprise Inquired how she got
the roses , the black lady explained without
hesitation and said "the faeces you threw grew
the roses"
•
• Do you grow roses or you throw faeces.*
• Anyway, Whenever they throw faeces at you, don't
throw them back, ensure you *grow roses*.
