• Sometimes short & long-term goals can be
frustrating because they could have longer and
harder steps to accomplish.

• Require more skill, knowledge, and persistence
• Makes you gain more courage and inner
strengths to accomplish them
5. What to Do When Goals Are Hard
• You can develop immediate goals within your
short and long term goals to help.
• Ex. If you want to publish your own book, but
there are too many things to do, then you can
have a separate goal for each task.
• By setting smaller goals within a big goal, you
build your confidence & motivation.
