New Life Steel Structures
A Standard New Life Steel building system is made up of primary members, connections, roof
sheeting, wall sheeting, sheeting fasteners, sealer, closures, ridge caps, flashing and trim,
gutters and downs pouts
Primary structural framing shall include the transverse rigid frames, lean-to-rafters and
columns, canopy rafters, interior columns (beam and column frames), bearing frame rafters
and corner columns and endwall wind columns.
Secondary structural framing shall include the purlins, grits eavestruts, wind bracing, flange
bracing, base angles, clips and other miscellaneous structural parts.
All structural members shall be cleaned by wire brushing to remove dirt, grease, oil and loose
mill scale and given one shop coat of red oxide, air drying.Any additional finish painting is not
included in New Life Steel scope.
A. All field connections shall be bolted.
B. Primary bolted connections shall be furnished with high strength bolts confirming to the
physical specifications ofASTM 325 (or equivalent).
C. Secondary bolted connections shall be furnished with machine bolts confirming to the
physical specifications ofASTM 3207 (or equivalent).
A. Members fabricated from plates shall have flanges and webs joined on one side of the web by
submerged welding process having a minimum yield strength 345 mpa.
B. Members fabricated by cold forming process shall have a minimum yield strength of 345 mpa
C. Members fabricated from hot rolled structural shapes shall have a minimum Yield strength of
250 mpa.
D. Rod and angle bracing shall have a minimum yield strength of 250 mpa.
E. Roof and wall cladding shall confirm to physical specifications have a minimum Yield strength
of 345 mpa.
F. All other miscellaneous secondary members have a minimum yield strength of 250 mpa.

Roof and wall panels shall be of 26 gauges thick profiled galavalume / galvalume color
coated / gi colour coated steel sheeting. In case of prepainted galvalume panels, the
exterior face is prepainted galvalume panels, the exterior face is prepainted with 1 mil.
thick factory applied polyester paint. The interior face is prepainted with 0.5 mil. thick
factory applied polyester paints. each panel shall be white / grey. Other materials,
thickness and coating are available upon request.
Standard fastners shall be self tapping sheet metal screws with metal and neoprene
washers.All screws shall have hexagonal heads.
This is to be applied at all side laps and end laps of roof panels and around self flashing.

Sold or closed cell e.t.p. (ethylene polypropylene terpolymer) closures matching th
profile of the panel shall be installed.
Aformed panel matching materrial colour, slope and profile.
Flashing and / or trim shall be furnished at the rake, corners, and eaves framed
openings and wherever necessary to provide weather tightness and finished
appearance.
Eave gutters shall be box shaped, colour coated, 0.5mm nominal thickness (26 gauge)
galvanized steel. The outside face of the gutter shall be supported with colour coated
0.5mm nominal thickness (26 gauge) straps to the eave member at a maximum
spacing Of 0.2 m.

New Life Steel deck section is fixed on welded plate girder
primary and secondary beams.
Average 60 mm thick concreting is done on it to ensure
smooth top surface.
This ensures dry construction, fast speed and high strength.
New Life Steel has been evolving durable, aesthetical and yet economical industrial buildings by using the ever
dependable FINK / N trusses and WIDE FLANGE or H-SECTION steel columns.
It's a combination of solid web columns & open web lattice roof grinders.This systems is the economical alternative

Manufacturing
Shop drawings are sent to the factory for fabrication; manufacture all structural members and accessories for
complete installation.

Erection
The pre-fabricated structures or space frames are assembled on the ground and installed using crane or
scaffolding.The structure will undergo full and complete final inspection after installation.

All structures are designed and manufactured strictly according to ensuring maximum safety
and economy by making optimum use of quality raw materials and sheets.There is laboratory to check the raw
materials to verify the standard of material supplied to us as well as to ascertain the quality of manufactured steel
structures at various stages.The lab is equipped with all necessary equipments.

C & Z purlins are revolutionary products which have been
technically approved and accepted all over the world by architects
and engineers. Its extraordinary shapes increases its strength and
load taking capacity. Usage of Z purlins results in cost saving upto
50% in structural steel as compared to traditional rolled section (Like
Angle / Channel / Beams) and hollow sections like (Round Pipes /
SHS / RSH.) it is available in customised lengths, Thus there is no
need of any fabrication, cutting or welding at the site. Hence there is
no material wastage or fabrication cost. It is also available is various
