Appliances in our house use much energy that causes us to pay high bills. As a part of your family, how can you help in conserving electricity? What are the useful energy-saving measures that can be applied in our home? To fully enjoy the benefits of electricity here are some energy-saving tips. Some of these tips are as follows:
Clean it regularly. Open the door of the fridge only if needed. Do not leave the door of the fridge open. Be sure that the door is always closed.
Limit the time of use. Watch only important shows like news. Unplug when not in use. Keep it away from water. Keep it away from metal objects because it can cause electric shock.
Turn it off when not in use. Clean the bulbs regularly. Use natural light/sunlight if possible. Do not use it during daytime.
Iron the clothes once a week. Unplug the refrigerator while ironing. Unplug when not in use. Iron the clothes that are only needed to be ironed.
