Allan applied for a new job, but as his self-esteem was low, and he considered himself as a failure and unworthy of success, he was sure that he was not going to get the job. He had a negative attitude towards himself, and believed that the other applicants were better and more qualified than him. Allan manifested this attitude, due to his negative past experiences with job interviews. His mind was filled with negative thoughts and fears concerning the job for the whole week before the job interview. He was sure he would be rejected. On the day of the interview he got up late, and to his horror he discovered that the shirt he had planned to wear was dirty, and the other one needed ironing. As it was already too late, he went out wearing a shirt full of wrinkles. During the interview he was tense, displayed a negative attitude, worried about his shirt, and felt hungry because he did not have enough time to eat breakfast. All this distracted his mind and made it difficult for him to focus on the interview. His overall behavior made a bad impression, and consequently he materialized his fear and did not get the job

Who according to you got the job????
The word "cognitive" refers to the thought process toward awareness or knowledge. Affective- emotional aspect
Making your attitude your greatest asset begins when you choose to have the right attitude. Once that decision is made, the following steps will help you achieve an attitude that will be a positive difference-maker in your life.
John C. Maxwell says, “I’ve written three or four books on attitude, but my attitude still doesn’t stay good automatically. It’s like the farmer says: ‘The hardest thing about cows is they never stay milked.’ Our attitude is just like that. It just doesn’t stay set.”
All’s well that begins well. We’ve always heard this phrase the other way around: All’s well that ends well. Ask any coach of a sports team, and they’ll tell you the attitude of the players going into the game will be a determining factor in the outcome of the game… medical non-medical subject forced by parents,, if u think u can do it u will and if u think u cant then u will not be able to do it
When someone has a difficult time with people, almost always it’s an attitude issue… can you share any example where attitude ruined any of your relationship? People who fail in relationships almost always fail in the area of attitude toward others. Your attitude has a tremendous impact upon your relationship skills
Successful people don’t have fewer problems than unsuccessful people –they just have a different mindset. .. Story of boy and swimming trainer
If we don’t take the time to evaluate, we will create extra work and grief for ourselves. What thoughts control your mind?
No choice will determine the success of your attitude change more than desiring to change. When all else fails, desire alone can keep you heading in the right direction. Many people have climbed over insurmountable obstacles to make themselves better people when they realized that change is possible if they really want it badly enough.
The first rule in winning is don’t beat yourself. Your attitude is totally in your control. You can’t control the length of your life, but you can control its width and depth. You can’t control the contour of your face, but you can control its expression. You can’t control the weather, but you can control the atmosphere of your mind
tips
We are where we are because of the dominating thoughts that occupy our minds. Major premise: We can control our thoughts. Minor premise: Our feelings come from our thoughts. We can control our feelings by learning to change the way we think. Our feelings come from our thoughts. Therefore, we can change them by changing our thought patterns.
