3. LAG installation procedure 8/10/2022 3  Install the LAGU Chassis in the BM which is to be converted to MAX-NG system.  Insert the NGTJ card into Chassis.  Access the card (serial communication) through minicom cable on Desktop/Laptop.  Bring the PC and LAGU system on same subnet and make Ethernet up.  Configure the ssh/telnet connectivity.  Type the command printenv after halting the system while it counts from 9 to 1.  Change the eth0,eth1 and DSP MAC, Image file and other important IPs and provide the IP of same domain.  After successful changes type saveenv to save the Changes properly.

All Rights Reserved STEPS INVOLVED  Formatting NAND FLASH (/MMC).  Transfer RFS file to mmc  Untar RFS file  Check chroot /mmc  LAG release and EMS installation  Update net file  Give reboot to card  Press Y on reboot and enter entries of lag_sys.conf file  Update Manager entry.  Check for Level 5 of card  Check tic card and dialtone.  Check intra-LAG and inter-LAG call.  For detailed description, refer installation document of NGTJ card. 10 8/10/2022 10 8/10/2022 10
