1. Chagrin Valley Roller Rink

2. Built in 1947
For over 68 years people
have been strapping
skates on and off. The roller
rink has been a nice place for
families to have fun.

3. The mascot, Roo, is famous
for being a part of the
history of the CVRR.

4. The roller rink has an interesting shape. It
was originally built as a rink, but looks like a
quonset hut from World War II.

5. In the 1980s the inline skate was invented
when people thought it wouldn’t work and it
did!

6. In 1996 speed team the CVRR Piranha is one
of the fastest skaters back then.

7. When the rink first( 1947 ) opened people
thought it was a place to store airplanes and
about 20-30 people asked.
