This gives the audience a chance to think about those main concepts and apply those concepts when starting the lesson for the class. This will help get the students in the right frame of mind when it comes to learning more about WebEx. The principle of personalization is also noted in this first slide. The wording in the sentences is not formal, but friendly and inviting. The writing is more conversational then formal. This gives the reader the ability to engage in the reading and are able to better store the information for later use. It is important to get the audience excited about the topic and ready to learn all at the same time. This has been done in this first slide. If the advantages are reviewed a few at a time, the students should not get overwhelmed with the material and really grasp the idea behind WebEx and be ready for the next lesson, which would be steps to take to get a WebEx launched. I would do something along these lines: Now take a look at the advantages. Read over them and pick out three that mean the most to you as a student and an e-learner. Once the students have picked three out that they feel are most important, I would have them share their favorites. By reading others’ responses, they will have a better understanding of the advantages. This is a worked example on how to sign up for a WebEx account. Before the students can take full advantage of what WebEx has to offer, they must first sign up for an account. This is a step-by-step process to do just that. The students will see that one step is shown at a time for ease of use. The students will then not get overwhelmed with all of the steps at once and it will seem more manageable to sign up quickly. Once the students have made a WebEx account, they are ready to join the interactive world of WebEx. I have chosen this slide to depict my text and graphics that are appropriately integrated . The text is all about how to set up a WebEx meeting. The graphic is that of an actual WebEx meeting between coworkers. It displays the pictures of the co-workers so that the student can get a feel for how the meeting set up will look like. It also gives the student an idea of what kinds of things that can be shared between the members of the meeting. In this case, they are all looking at a graph and discussing that graph. This is an excellent example of how WebEx can be used for the e-learner. It gives the students only a glimpse into the number of things that WebEx can be used for in the classroom. I have chosen this text to go along with this picture because I want the students to get excited about what WebEx can offer them in the e-learning classroom. A WAV file has been inserted into this storyboard . This file was recorded by the narrator, which in this case is me, and then inserted into the slide that I wanted describe. This is a practice exercise that goes through some of the advantages that were taught in the previous slides. The learner should read each statement and decide whether it is true or false. The learner will click on the answer that he/she feels is correct and the slides will show the correct answer. This type of practice exercise is great for the learner. It is completely learner controlled. The learner can go back to the beginning of the slides to review information before he/she takes the quiz. The learner can also go back and take the quiz as many times as he/she chooses. The feedback that is given after each question gives the learner an idea of how well he/she understands the advantages of WebEx as it pertains to the e-learner. This is a great way to help make the slide show more interactive and keep the attention of the learners.

Here is a link to go to my blog. This blog is my collaboration activity . This blog is designed for students to go to with their learning groups. Once there, they will see some graphics that help reinforce what WebEx can offer the students. They will see two questions that are posed for them to answer as a group. This will get them thinking about everything that they have learned and will then apply that knowledge to the questions that are asked. These questions and the activity as a whole will enhance the instruction of WebEx. I think that this is a great collaboration activity that the students will enjoy. After this activity and the storyboard as a whole, the students should have a good grasp of what WebEx is, what is has to offer, and how to sign up for an account with WebEx.
