A. MINISTERS RETREAT AND MINDANAO CHURCH PLANTING MISSION CONFERENCE:
Ministers retreat and Mission meeting was held at Sayaban Church (my home church)
last October 23-24, 2015. Once every three (3) months Ministers/Pastors meet for fellowship.
During this event mission orientation, mission incorporators and board of trustees were
selected. Negligence in our part that churches were not taught about missions elders in the
church have not include in their planning about church planting mission. Our vision is about
mission involvement of Christians and local churches here in Mindanao that they be actively
involved and support the mission. I was appointed as Overall Program Coordinator to facilitate
and to look for ways and means and conduct mission orientation to church leaders/ministers in
different regions of Mindanao.
Mindanao has five (5) regions and twenty seven (27) provinces. As of 2010 Mindanao
population has Twenty One million, Five hundred ninety one thousand, Three hundred thirty (
21,591,330 ). Church of Christ profile as of 2014 has Three Hundred Ten (310) churches.
Proposal for fund raising has been prepared and started meeting church leaders in nearby
provinces.
There were seventy eight (78) ministers/pastors present during this event.
Ministers/Pastors representing Zamboanga, South Cotabato, North Cotabato, Davao Oriental,
North Davao, COMVAL Province, Davao City.
Mindanao Church Planting Mission Incorporators and Board of Trustees meet last
December 14, 2015 and discussed about SEC registration and other matters.
