Plaine Images
Plaine Images is the site of economic excellence dedicated to creative
industries in Europe : Audiovisual, Game, AR/VR, Design.
From the start-up to the international company, Plaine Images promotes
the development of companies through a qualitative work environment,
a program of animation and support.

Research Center IRDIVE
Innovation-Research In Digital And Interactive Visual Environnements is
a leading-edge equipments set in 1800 m2 space devoted to research
and innovation in Human and Social Science, Cognitive psychology and
neurosciences, computer sciences :
To foster a technological cluster unique in Europe for multidisciplinary
research in visual and cultural sciences
To promote an increased proximity between researchers, artists and
image/digital visual professionals
To set up outreach initiatives bringing scientific, technological and artistic

ANKAMA
Created just fifteen years ago, Ankama is an independent entertainment
and digital creation group, and a key player in the gaming world!
Since the phenomenal success of its online game DOFUS in 2004 (85
million accounts created worldwide, and more than 40 million in France
alone), Ankama has branched out into several different areas, and become
a true transmedia group.
Located in the Plaine Images, a dynamic business hub that is home to
nearly one-hundred companies working in the spheres of digital imagery
and innovation in Roubaix, France, Ankama employs more than 300
people. From the ground up, our large facilities are decorated with art
work from our video games, television series and feature films. Our
staff can enjoy the company’s many facilities such as a daycare center,
cafeteria, relaxation area, and sports facilities - not to mention our movie
theater.
POLE IIID
Pole IIID is a school specialized in 2D and 3D animation, video games and
special effects providing training in computer graphics to its students.
Initial training, continuing training, Pole IIID trains creators, digital
directors or in the field of field of videogame & entertainment immediately
operational. After their graduation they are ready to integrate companies
of all sizes in all areas involving 3D.
