2. Vincent Van Gogh was born in Zundert in 30 March 1853.
He died in Aures-Sur-Oise in 29 July 1890.
He created about 2100 artworks in all of his life. He
didn't have a fixed style. He liked to paint landscapes, still
lifes, portraits and self portraits and their characteristics
were symbolic colours, and dramatic, impulsive and highly
expressive brushwork.
He started painting and drawing when he was a child by his
mother. His child drawings were so expressive. He made
most of his paintings in his last years of life.
