Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks tulis fungsional dan esei pendek sederhana berbentuk
narrative dan report untuk berinteraksi dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari.

menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat , lancar dan berterima untuk

TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN
Pada akhir pembelajaran, siswa dapat :
1. Membuat kalimat sederhana berbentuk past tense
2. Melengkapi teks rumpang menjadi teks naratif yang lengkap

 Memberikan stimulus berupa materi tentang past tense
 Memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk membaca dan melengkapi teks rumpang
Elaborasi
 Membiasakan peserta didik membaca dan menulis yang beragam melalui tugas-tugas
tertentu yang bermakna;
 Memfasilitasi peserta didik melalui pemberian tugas, diskusi, dan lain-lain untuk
memunculkan gagasan baru baik secara lisan maupun tertulis;
 Memberi kesempatan untuk berpikir, menganalisis, menyelesaikan masalah, dan
bertindak tanpa rasa takut;
Konfirmasi
 Memberikan umpan balik positif dan penguatan dalam bentuk lisan, tulisan, isyarat,
maupun hadiah terhadap keberhasilan peserta didik,

The Goose With the Golden Eggs
Well, here is the story. One day, a countryman was going to the (1)......... of his goose.
Then he found there was an egg all yellow and glittering. When he took it up, it was as heavy as
lead and he was going to Throw it away, because he though that a (2)........... had been played
upon him. But he took it home on a second thought, and soon found to his delight that it was an
egg of (3)......... gold. Every morning the same thing (4)............, and he soon become rich by
(5)........... his eggs. As he grew rich, he grew greedy; and thought to get at once all the gold the
goose could give. He killed it and opened it only to find nothing.

  • 1. RANCANGAN KEGIATAN PEMBELAJARAN (RPP) Mata Pelajaran : Bahasa Inggris Sekolah : SMPN 1 Pandeglang Materi Pokok : Teks Narasi (Past Tense) Siklus Pembelajaran : Menulis Kelas/ Semester : IX /1 Alokasi Waktu : 2x40 menit ( 1x pertemuan) STANDAR KOMPETENSI 12. Menulis Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks tulis fungsional dan esei pendek sederhana berbentuk narrative dan report untuk berinteraksi dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. KOMPETENSI DASAR 12.2. Mengungkapkan makna dan langkah retorika dalam esei pendek sederhana dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat , lancar dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dalam konteks sehari-hari dalam teks berbentuk naratif dan report TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN Pada akhir pembelajaran, siswa dapat : 1. Membuat kalimat sederhana berbentuk past tense 2. Melengkapi teks rumpang menjadi teks naratif yang lengkap  Karakter siswa yang diharapkan : Dapat dipercaya ( Trustworthines) Rasa hormat dan perhatian ( respect ) Tekun ( diligence ) Tanggung jawab ( responsibility ) Berani ( courage ) BAHAN PEMBELAJARAN  Past Tense Verbal Positive : S + V2 Negative : S + did + Not + V1 Interrogative : did + S + V1 Nominal Positive : S + was/were + C Negative : S + was/were + Not + C Interrogative : was/were + S + C  Note Was/were = tobe in past form I He She Was It They We Were You C = Complement = could be Noun, Adjective, or Adverb  Example She/ Call Friend (Verb) (+) She called her friend (-) She didn’t call her friend (?) did she call her friend? KEGIATAN PEMBELAJARAN Kegiatan Pembelajaran dengan metode 2 cycles four stages berdasarkan pendekatan berbasis jenis teks (genre based approach) KEGIATAN AWAL Apersepsi  Siswa merespon salam guru  Siswa merespon guru mengecek kehadiran siswa  Guru memberikan small chat atau review pelajaran yang lalu Motivasi  Menjelaskan pentingnya materi yang akan dipelajari berikut kompetensi yang harus dikuasai siswa KEGIATAN INTI Eksplorasi  Memberikan stimulus berupa materi tentang past tense  Memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk membaca dan melengkapi teks rumpang Elaborasi  Membiasakan peserta didik membaca dan menulis yang beragam melalui tugas-tugas tertentu yang bermakna;  Memfasilitasi peserta didik melalui pemberian tugas, diskusi, dan lain-lain untuk memunculkan gagasan baru baik secara lisan maupun tertulis;  Memberi kesempatan untuk berpikir, menganalisis, menyelesaikan masalah, dan bertindak tanpa rasa takut; Konfirmasi  Memberikan umpan balik positif dan penguatan dalam bentuk lisan, tulisan, isyarat, maupun hadiah terhadap keberhasilan peserta didik,  Memberikan konfirmasi terhadap hasil eksplorasi dan elaborasi peserta didik melalui berbagai sumber,  Membantu menyelesaikan masalah; KEGIATAN PENUTUP  Melakukan penilaian terhadap kegiatan yang sudah dilaksanakan secara konsisten.  Menyampaikan rencana pembelajaran pada pertemuan berikutnya.  Memotivasi siswa agar tetap bersungguh- sungguh dalam belajar  Mengucapkan salam SUMBER BELAJAR Internet PENILAIAN/ ASSESSMENT No. Indikator Teknik Bentuk Contoh 1. Membuat kalimat sederhana berbentuk past tense Tes Tulis Essay Write down sentences in past tense form!
