GREE
๏ Manufacturer reports that R290 air
conditioners will be much cheaper than R410A
units
๏ Reason: Narrower tubes can be used in
condenser and evaporator because R290 has
better heat transfer properties and a lower
pressure drop & also R290 refrigerant is
cheaper than R410a

standards (IEC 60335-2-40, special
