Design Your Life – Day 1
Today I’m beginning a video/blog series of how to go about creating
your ideal lif e………more specif ically, designing your ideal day.
The purpose of this exercise is to help you get in touch with what you
want your “new” lif e to look like. Consider it a road map.
See, you’ve already decided that you want to work f rom home…….no
longer tied to a j.o.b. You know that you don’t want to work on
someone else’s terms, being told when to work, how long to work,
when to take lunch, when you can take vacation, etc. That’s
great…….but, generic.
In order to get what you want, you need to be able to see it with crystal
clear vision.
I explain in a bit more detail in today’s video. Watch it here.
Why is knowing your destination so powerful?
When you begin to design your lif e, the quickest way to get there is being perf ectly, crystal clear in knowing
your destination. Then, during times when you’re tired, f rustrated, overwhelmed, or hit a wall, having that clear
vision is what will draw you towards it.
If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll never get there.
Questions to ask yourself
As you begin to look at the questions, really pay attention and put lots of thought into how you answer.
Remember, you’re designing a lif e of your dreams, a lif e that you want to put your time and ef f orts into
achieving.
Let’s start to design your lif e by asking about 20 questions. Here ya go!
1) Where would you live? Would you live in the same city and/or state? Or would your dream/ideal location be
in some exotic location?
Would you live on a beach, in a big city, in the mountains, in a f oreign country. It’s your choice.
2) What would your house look like? Would you like a beach house, the same house your in now………or
maybe a big-city skyscraper penthouse?
While your looking around your house, how is it decorated? Really f ocus on the look and f eel of your home.
3) What time would you wake up on your ideal, average day? Would you like to sleep in late every day…..or do
you enjoy getting up early and getting a quick start on the day?
Again, put lots of thought into how you answer these questions, and those that are to f ollow. I want you to
begin to build your “want to” lif e, rather than living a lif e of “have to” and this is where it starts.
