1 Now when they had passed through
Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to
Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the
Jews:
2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto
them, and three sabbath days reasoned with
them out of the scriptures,
3 Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs
have suffered, and risen again from the dead;
and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is
Christ.

Jesus had the greatest impact
of anyone on earth.

5. DID NOT Sin
Jesus was the only sinless man to live on this
earth
• “For we have not an high priest which cannot be
touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but
was in all points tempted like as we are, yet
without sin” Hebrews 4:15
• “For such an high priest became us, who is
holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from
sinners, and made higher than the heavens”

• “Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his

6. DID NOT Seek Revenge
Even though He was treated wrongfully, he did not
retaliate.
• “Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again;
when he suffered, he threatened not; but
committed himself to him that judgeth
righteously” 1 Peter 2:23
• Jesus practiced what He preached
• He turned the other cheek Matthew 5:39
• He humbly submitted to His enemies Matt 27:21-31

7. DID NOT Relinquish His Deity
It has been taught that Jesus gave up His deity
and was just and ordinary man like you and
me.
• “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of
grace and truth” John 1:14
• Jesus was God in the flesh
• “the Son of God” - Mark 1:1
• “the Son of man” - Mark 14:41

Jesus humbled Himself while on earth
• “But made himself of no reputation, and took
upon him the form of a servant, and was made
in the likeness of men: And being found in
fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and
became obedient unto death, even the death

• “For even the Son of man came not to be
ministered unto, but to minister, and to give
his life a ransom for many” Mark 10:45

His Deity was challenged by those who chanted for Him
to come down from the cross.
