Weight Loss Patches: How do Weight Loss Patches work? Do they work at all? <br />
A weight loss patch is a relatively modern solution for fat loss offered by the multi billion dollar industry. <br /> <br /> It is an easy solution and popular one; that you simply have to put on the weight loss patch on different ‘trouble spots’ on your body and then the excess fat will burn away slowly but surely. <br /> <br />
Do you really want to know how fat is burned and what do you lose when you patches start working? <br /> <br /> Well body fat is primarily a reserve of energy and it is utilized when more energy is needed, i.e. when we exercise heavily and there is a need for reserve energy for back up. <br /> <br />
On the other hand a weight loss patch works primarily by inducing heat on the body and/or releasing semi-synthetic or artificial hormones and chemicals. <br /> <br /> When heat is turned on we will lose mostly water as perspiration. You replace the fluid and you’ll replace the weight. <br />
Semi-synthetic hormones or chemicals are said to work due to their so-called ‘fat burning effect’. <br /> <br /> Yet, the body will not simply respond these chemicals and hormones if they are actually synthesized and released within the body itself. <br /> <br /> It will simply recognize these induced hormones and chemicals as coming from a foreign source and then slowly break them down and excrete them. <br /> <br />
Weight Loss Patches have had limited success due to these very factors. Their only success is temporary because the lost weight is due to water weight and not due to fat burning effect. <br /> Want to know one more fact? <br /> <br /> Trying to manipulate your metabolism through artificial means is really very harmful for us and never works in the long run. <br /> <br />
A few weeks or few months later you will find yourself in the same position as now. <br /> <br /> I know because I’ve tried them myself and failed. If you know what does not work you will want to know what does work for fat loss. <br /> <br /> Common sense works, proper science works, healthy diet and exercise works and there are no magic solutions so far. <br />
