3. 1. BRITISH PEOPLE DRINK A LOT It is a well-known fact that the British love drinking and they have a reputation for being heavy drinkers. Beer is probably their favourite drink, but most British will also drink cider and whisky quite often. There was a long tradition of pubs closing at 11pm, so people used to drink a lot very quickly... and therefore they got really tipsy (or even drunk) in just a few hours!!
4. We all have heard about British food... and how bland it is! Although there are delicious dishes in British cuisine (roast beef, puddings, etc.), their food is famous for being one of the worst in the world. 2. BRITISH FOOD IS TERRIBLE
5. British people do have the reputation of having a terrible sense of fashion. They are for sure not the most elegant Europeans, but the good thing is that no matter how extravagant or old-fashioned your outfit is, in Britain nobody will criticize you for not wearing the right clothes! 3. 6. 4. BRITISH PEOPLE ARE VERY POLITE Wherever you go in the British Isles, you will hear “sorry”, “please”, “thank you” and “excuse me” a lot. Is it because they are extremely polite, or has it become just a habit? In any case, expect to hear those words in almost every situation, and be prepared to used them as well if you don't want to be frowned upon!
