Professional Experience:
09/11-Present Tradesman International as a contracted welder. Pipe welding at the Groton
sub Base. Stick 6010 root, 7018 out. Tig as well. Included mirror welding in tight locations.
10/10-09/11 Dunkin Donuts as periodic fill-in work while seeking employment in the
welding discipline when between jobs.
06/09-09/10 Self-Employed. Electrical, welding, painting and plumbing work as available.
Included free-lance design, welding and installation of decorative benches for custom
homes.
2009-06/09 Merry Group as a contractor for aerospace company Whitcraft, Eastford, CT.
Mostly jet propulsion engines parts. Welded titanium, nickel, and stainless steel in a
chamber tank. Used burr machines and high accuracy measuring tools.
2008-2009 Various Temp Agencies as a Contract Welder: Tradesman International for
Senesco Marine (Quonset Point, RI); ROI for A to Z Corp. (Groton, CT); CGS Inc. for
Cianbro Corp. (Wallingford, CT). Qualified pipe welder, stainless, carbon steel, with a G8
license. Qualified on stainless steel, butt and socket, carbon steel 60-10 root, 7018 out,
carbon steel TIG all out processes.
Education/Training:
Three Rivers Community College, Norwich, CT: Completed CAD Certificate program and
courses in Board Drafting, Manufacturing and Processing. Deans List.
Norwich Technical School, Norwich, CT: Electrical code 1 & 2 and Electrical Theory
Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, CT: Welding Training - Certified welder on submarine
pressure hulls, machinery foundations and other heavy structures. Instructor training.
Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical School, Groton, CT: High School Diploma. Major
in welding, including MIG, TIG and stainless steel. Three years of design drafting.
