1. What are the strengths and weaknesses of this simulation as a way of learning
about the Versailles Conference?
▪ Play the game again as each of the remaining two members of the "Big Three" to
determine if it is easier to get a higher score as a different character.
4. FollowUp Task (probably a homework!)
• Produce a "Press Statement" from your character designed to summarise your
objectives, outline which of these you obtained, and which ones you compromised
on and why. You can use this framework to help you if you wish.

• In a followup lesson, the highestscoring student from each group should read out
their statement to the rest of the class, who should have the opportunity to vote on
who spoke best / which of the "Treaties" described sounds the most reasonable.
• Your teacher will then outline the real terms of the Treaty, and you should discuss
which member of the Big Three would have been happiest with its terms.
