Vision & Mission
Vision: a Santa Cruz County in which every
community member has some form of safe
shelter, and where homelessness is a rare
occurrence.
Mission: to improve the way Santa Cruz County
works collaboratively to reduce and ultimately
end homelessness.

Authority of Santa Cruz County to create
an exception to their Section 8 waiting list
process; a new housing subsidy voucher
preference for disabled and medically
vulnerable homeless persons

more than doubled - from an average of 3
during first 6 months to 9 in 2013 and most
recently… May: 13, June: 13, July: 15!!!
• At 10 / month we can meet and exceed
our 180 goal by July 2014
