Choosing to have a total fitness program at the PhuketFit Retreat (http://
www.phuketfit.com/) was one of the best decisions I have ever taken! Not only was
I able to train in a very effective program that helped me improve my strength,
flexibility and stamina, I was able to do so while in the midst of one of the most
beautiful places on earth-Thailand!
As soon as I reached and enjoyed a warm and beautiful welcome, I was
approached by some of the friendliest and knowledgeable fitness and nutrition
experts I have ever met. They helped me plan out my fitness program, taking into
account my goals and preferences, while guiding me to make the best decision
with their exhaustive and comprehensive inputs.
This initial planning session turned out to be my roadmap for the rest of my stay at
the PhuketFit Retreat in Thailand. This program was also further tailored to suit my
specific body type and needs after taking into account the results of the tests that
were conducted to assess my aerobic, strength, fitness, and endurance levels.
After this initial one-on-one meeting, I continued to meet with my personal program
coach weekly to keep track of my progress. This also helped pep me up to focus
even further. If there were any changes to be made in the program, it was made
with the guidance of my personal coach. I felt so supported and encouraged during
my entire stay there. It was such an empowering and yet guided experience that
helped to invigorate and inspire me to stay on track to reach my goals more than
ever before!
There are programs at PhuketFit Retreat that last from 7 days to 28 days, each at
very affordable prices that get even better with the special promotions that keep
happening from time to time. I chose to undertake the 28 day program which
resulted in a total transformation for me, from body to spirit! There was never a dull
day of workouts in the name of fitness and never a bland diet in the name of health
and nutrition!
During the course of the week, I had such an interesting variety of experiences that
kept me on my toes while keeping me refreshed. On a weekly basis, I got to
experience group fitness classes, yoga classes, TRX suspension classes, Muay
Thai kickboxing classes, a morning beach bootcamp, a Thai or oil massage, and
on top of this, I also could go to the well-equipped fitness studio any time of the
day, from 7 in the morning to 10 at night.
What can I say about the meal plan which was a divine delight of the senses
without compromising on nutrition! The daily meals, snacks and juice which were
2. part of the fitness program complemented my workouts perfectly.
At the end of the program, I not only feel an increase in energy and stamina, I also
sleep much better, my lean muscle has increased, I look and feel more energetic
and healthy, and my motivation levels have increased so much that I now wake up
looking forward to life much more than ever before!
