14. Segregation:
Segregation can be defined as separation of constituents of a
heterogeneous mixtures so that their distribution is no longer
uniform.
Bleeding:
Bleeding is form of segregation in which some of water in
concrete mix tends to rise to the surface of freshly placed concrete.
Highly compressed concrete:
If concrete is highly compressed then it has possibility to
failure.
Lacking of support:
For lacking of support columns can fail.
16. Now a days spirally reinforced columns are frequently used
instead of tied columns. It gives greater toughness and
ductility.
