VIRMO CONNECT is partnering with other African companies to produce business networking seminar in order to provide support and create an exceptional business networking environment for Botswana’s young aspiring entrepreneurs (under the age of 30). V-Concept gives members the opportunity to learn how to pitch ideas before investors, work in groups, exchange ideas and learn different approach to tackle various challenges they encounter during the process of establishing a new venture.

They have named this networking
activity THE VIRMO CONCEPT-
POWER 09. based on T. Power‟s
phrase. “ Network Thinking (NT)”

WHY THE VIRMO CONCEPT POWER-09
Team Building
The VIRMO CONCEPT team- building session was
held at Sun City; South Africa. The Team-Bw arrived
at 11:30 by the main entrance of Sun City and left at
14:00,. The team enjoyed the 2 hours 30 minutes they
had spend together during the team-building session
at Sun City. From Sun City, the team went straight to
Rustenburg to get ready for other activities as outlined
in the VCP09– 2017 Activities Time Schedule.

Dinner
Nandos; Waterfall-Mall became the ideal dine out location for the VA_Team;
The dinner time served as the best time for everyone to know more about each
other‟s entrepreneurial journey, the challenges and hustle one has to go through
to be successful and also what motivates them to go on and on despite the
challenges they‟re all facing. The team got a chance to learn from Mr S. Seleko
and Ms Obakeng -What these successful entrepreneurs had to do and go
through for them to be where they are today. It seems like it only takes a
determined heart, perseverance and creating the right atmosphere; identifying
the right kind of people whom together you share the same vision. Though it
lasted for less than 2hrs, to the team it was time well spent and worth it.
Breakfast
On a beautiful Sunday morning when the sky showed no sign of rain, the Team
got ready for their breakfast. The Road Lodge chefs did their best to make sure
the Team find everything ready by the time they arrive at the dining room for
breakfast. The team was joined by Mr M. Seloko and Ms Obakeng for breakfast
which was very appealing and wonderfully prepared; had almost everything one
could ever expect to have during breakfast time. To the team was not just a
normal breakfast time where one will sit and eat in silence instead took it as an
opportunity to network and learn more from the motivational speaker. The
breakfast took an 1hr; allowing the presenters to get themselves ready for the
presentation.
Presentation
The presentations started 20 minutes after the breakfast. It was that moment
everyone had been looking forward to. It started with the VA_Team director
giving welcome remarks and introduced VIRMO CONCEPT POWER 09-
VCP09-17TH Edition, followed by HOUSE OF ANGELS– HOA-Chairperson-
Mr Tseo and Ms Tsotlhe as the secretary for HOA, An Orphanage Center based
in Ditshegwane-Botswana; followed by different individuals who presented
their ideas and received immediate feedback from mentors in terms of what,
how and where to improve to stand a better chance of being an industry leader.
Every individual that took part in the presentations was given a platform to pass
on suggestions on what other presenters could do to improve their ideas. Ideas presented touched on agribusiness, real-
estate, lifestyle/fitness products & services, financial solutions, and event management just to name a few.
