2. And so it goes Yesterday's seeds are tomorrow's rose Nothing ever really dies Except hate and lies Love lives forever Like an eternal river Winding its way to the sea Carrying a bit of you and me We arrive when our life ends We are the water the river sends We evaporate into the sky And become a teardrop in someone's eye Or maybe a raindrop in God's loving soil To bring new life in a garden of toil And the flower once again becomes a rose So it goes
