Ichthyology, also known as Fish Science, is the branch of biology devoted to the study
of fish. This includes bony fishes, cartilaginous fish, and jawless fish.
3. Ideology

Ideology refers to the system of abstracted meaning applied to public matters, thus making
this concept central to politics. Implicitly, in societies that distinguish between public and
private life, every political or economic tendency entails ideology, whether or not it is
propounded as an explicit system of thought.
4. Lithology

Lithology is the scientific study of rock-formations, especially at the macroscopic
level, in terms of their color, texture, and composition. The gross physical
character of a rock or rock formation is studied under lithology.
5. Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology refers to the manipulation of matter with at least one dimension sized
from 1 to 100 nanometers. This definition relates to the research category inclusive of all
types of research and technologies that deal with the special properties of matter that
occur below the given size threshold.

Numerology is any belief in divine, mystical relationship between a number and
some coinciding events where no such relationship exists. Numerology is regarded as
pseudomathematics or pseudoscience by modern scientists. It is often associated
with the paranormal, alongside astrology and similar divinatory arts.

Philately is the study of stamps and postal history and other related items.
Philately involves more than just stamp collecting, which does not necessarily
involve the study of stamps.

Oceanology and marine science, is the branch of Earth Science that studies the ocean.
It covers a wide range of topics, including marine organisms and ecosystem
dynamics; ocean currents, waves, and geophysical fluid dynamics, plate tectonics
and the geology of the sea floor, etc.

Oenology is the science and study of all aspects of wine and winemaking except
vine-growing and grape-harvesting, which form a subfield called viticulture.

Organology is the science of musical instruments and their classification. It embraces
study of instruments' history, instruments used in different cultures, technical aspects
of how instruments produce sound, and musical instrument classification.

have helped develop several key concepts in evolution, behaviour and ecology such as
the definition of species, the process of speciation and conservation.

present. It includes the study of fossils to determine organisms' evolution and
interactions with each other and their environments.

substances with living systems, with a view to understanding the properties of drugs and
their actions, including the interactions between drug molecules and drug receptors and
how these interactions elicit an effect.

analysis of elections. Psephology uses historical precinct voting data, public opinion
polls, campaign finance information and similar statistical data.

waves through the Earth or through other planet-like bodies. The field also includes
studies of earthquake environmental effects, such as tsunamis as well as diverse
seismic sources such as volcanic, tectonic, oceanic, atmospheric, etc.

money, and related objects. The discipline also includes the broader study
