6. Film Producer: The film producer manages the finances of the film and is the final authority on all practical matters. Production Managers: He prepares a detailed budget, organizes the shooting schedules, hires equipment, obtains permissions to film in certain locations etc. Production assistants: They are responsible for the overall administration of the film. Their function is booking hotels and flights for crews, arranging time schedules etc. Researchers: There are picture researchers and factual researchers. Picture researchers search film archives, material that has been made earlier, eg: material on freedom struggle.. Factual Researchers search facts like certain important dates, historic events or specialties of locations etc. Assistant Director: They assist the director and make sure that everything is ready and available for filming on time. They coordinate with the cast and crew and get the things going as per the director's specifications. Continuity: The person in charge ensures that there is continuation in the film. He maintains a flow in the movie and makes it look as if it were shot all at once.

Director: The Director holds the reins of the movie, and pulls them as required to direct the horse (movie/film) to the road of success.He is the one who directs the entire film and actions of everybody in the team, ensuring their reactions culminate into making the best shot. He brings the script on paper onto the screen, replicating the characters, emotions, background, and creating an entertaining and meaningful picture. Lighting and Cameraman: The cinematographer or the director of photography is responsible for camera and lighting. They work in close coordination with the director to ensure the film is being shot from the right angles in appropriate lightings required according the scene shot. Sound Professionals:The sound team adds music and voice to the film. It includes sound mixer: who records the sound on location and balances the sound levels, boom handlers: who controls the microphones which are hung out of camera view, dubbing mixer: who matches the image to the sound, adds sound effects and records dialogues that were unusable. Editor:An editor positions the best shots and frames of a film. He cuts, edits and assembles the pictures and joins the cuts together.
