Hotel Opening Manager (HOM) is a project management and information sharing tool. IHG currently has more
hotels in the pipeline and is opening more hotels than ever before. Hotels entering the IHG system are
managed by different applications and spreadsheets across the regions. Global pipeline and opening
information is time consuming to produce. The current tools do not always equip the company to effectively
manage opening processes and often impose unnecessary burdens on owners and IHG due to redundancy and
lack of control. These disparate systems lead to uncoordinated efforts which results in inconsistent experiences
4. and IHG often appearing unorganized to new investors. HOM will be enabled by improving our integration with
existing applications to avoid the fragmentation that in the past has led to:

A piecemealed approach to gathering data for analytics
