Animations v 4D viewer – project communication

4D PAL models can be viewed at any date in the project from any
viewpoint. The information can be interrogated and manipulated.
Views can be emailed for discussion or contained in presentations.
Animations are generated from the 4D model. Whilst they are
informative they cannot be interrogated and the view is static. PAL 4D models are easy to use engineering tools for review and
discussion, distributed as a single file from a project website.

planning tool because they are pre-configured, cannot be zoomed in/out,
interrogated, related to a programme, dynamically updated and become out of AVI’s & Presentation
date too quickly

4D models should be delivered in their originating application to allow interrogation,
dynamic viewing & zooming, reports, forward look-ahead reports, filtering etc.
