Building Inclusive Products - Key Learnings
● Listen - get comfortable with being the “note taker”
● Read - research, research, research
● Think - frame the problems, but do not judge
● Communicate - surround yourself with diverse voices
● Use your platform - as a PM, you have that privilege to rein it in

Building Products as a Remote PM - Documentation
● ‘Product Brief’ - anything but brief! All conversations in one place
● ‘Team Priorities’ - simple ‘who, what, status’ doc for collaboration
● ‘Whiteboard in advance’ - many tools out there, but come prepared
● ‘Pre-read’ or ‘Silent-read’ - ahead of brainstorms/whiteboarding
Building Products as a Remote PM - Conversations
● ‘Swing by their desk’ - get quick chats with impromptu meetings
● ‘Be the concierge’ - Ask “How can I help you” on repeat
● ‘Rally behind the vote’ - for big groups/big decisions, 1:1’s are key
● ‘What’s your win this week?’ - get some positive ‘small talk’!
