What details/ information will you need to provide to start the job? Before you start work you need to: Fill out a tax declaration form Understanding your rights, Entitlements, Obligations and Employment statements
What information should you receive from your new employer before starting the job Rate of pay Leave provisions Working hours Conditions of termination What is expected of you in the job
National Employment Standard There are two National Employment Standard entitlements that apply to all employees, whether they are covered by the national workplace relations system or not.  These are: parental leave and related entitlements  notice of termination.
National Workplace Standards that all employees are entitled to? knowledge Penalty rates Meetings Training courses Trial periods Set up time Harassment Discrimination Termination  Employment
What the minimum age is to start work in NSW There is no minimum age for teenagers to start part time or casual work but if you want to leave school and start a full time job you need to have finished year 10 and be 17 and also have to be going to tafe or paid work.
 Some of the entitlements that are available to young workers? Penalties,  Loadings,  Allowances etc
21% of Australian employees have been bullied at work. 75% of employees have resigned from their workplace due to bullying  30-50% of stress claims at work are related to bullying, intimidation and other forms of abuse.  80% of bullies are in a position of authority.
 80% of employee’s have witnessed bullying in their workplace.  41% of victims were diagnosed with depression  Over 80% of victims reported health effects such as severe anxiety, lost concentration and sleeplessness
